Wonderland Court: Alice And The Potted Menace (Trial 1)

When you all reconvene at the Throne Room, you notice a large table has popped up. Heart walks to his throne and sits down, and you notice his mouth is oddly jagged, like it was zipped. He's making no noise, just watching. Each of the podiums has a dent where a handbook can connect, and a tiny sticky note with your name on it. When everyone inserts their handbook in, a monitor with Hardgore Alice descends from the ceiling. Estinien, Aymeric, and Erbulhen each go to a designated podium for them, forming a triangle that encompasses the podiums.
"All rise."
A strange blond boy carrying a revolver walks in from the Entry Hall, spinning the chamber.


"Court is now in session for the trial of Miss Hardgore Alice...God, a little happy I didn't have to share a name with her that long, or we'd have issues. Oh, I guess I should introduce myself. I'm Alice?, question mark included. The King of Hearts is unable to speak at this current time, due to the Naming Convention stating that the King is not allowed to speak during trial. My job is to babysit you all until you come to a conclusion, and then execute said conclusion. Sound easy? Here's the thing. Those dents you put the handbook in? Yeah, the killer just duped themselves. Whatever's causing the Jabberwocky virus likes to hide itself in there, so we devised a trap to scan it."
You're all shocked, save for the few of you who were here the first time. Alice? sighs and shakes his head.
"The problem is that the trap only works once a majority vote has been reached. Gotta love the magic of Wonderland, right? And even then, it will only tell us if they were guilty or innocent. And if they were innocent...?"
He sighs sadly.
"Well, then it looks like two heads are knocked instead of one...the virus escapes and infects one of the innocents...not to mention, I executed whoever you voted."
Heart looks away. If he could curse, he would. The Aces all look down, Aymeric muttering about faulty technology. 
"Anyways! I said court was in session, so...court is now in session!"
He fires his revolver into the air, signalling for discussion to start.
You all have 48 hours to figure out whodunnit. Extension will be given if necessary. 
NPCs are available for questioning, however this is mostly if a player needs to confirm themselves. Otherwise, they will remain silent.

"As we all have hopefully had plenty of investigation time, I believe we should start off with our investigations, then proceed with alibis, allow me a moment to check my findings."

[Nerdy Barista]

Amai sighs and looks over

"I talked to a cockroach in the male's bathroom... He started talking about a tall man who entered and disturbed the peace... The mirrors were damaged?"

She then looks back

"I then went past the garden... Trying not to see the body and talking to a fluffy bunny. He was at the shed it had a hole ner the entrance... He mentioned something about"

She shifted her voice to be higher and lighter
"Something was eating something!"

She went back to normal
"That is what I found. Disturbance in the male bathrooms. And something eating something else in the garden area (shed)"

“I think I will start with my alibi, I will Intrigue you with my findings soon after."

Cart cleared his throat.


In my first action I went to the garden, to site see, on my way there I saw Boris and One Nine being carried by a card soldier who was Diamond. Alice was walking with me. The garden is pretty. Though, I wasn’t the only one there, Alice began examining the garden as I was site seeing, and Amai was having...an episode in the garden, shredding flowers. 

In my second action, I went to the living room to relax. I don’t believe I saw anyone, I think I fell asleep honestly. It was a nice nap though, had dreams of home.

In my third action, I went to the bath to clean myself and relax more after waking up. When I was on my way, I saw Boris again heading to the Throne Room, carrying a sledgehammer? When I got to the bath, the first and third mirrors were broken. Such a shame, don’t you know breaking a mirror results in 7 years of bad luck?

My fourth action, I headed to my bedroom with a towel wrapped around my neck, Though I saw no one on the way there, I fell asleep again.

My fifth action I just stayed in my room because I didn’t want to leave. Though I woke up to someone charging passed to the bathrooms. It disturbed my nap.

My last action, I went to the male bathroom, though I saw a Diamond card soldier going into the female bathroom. Then that’s when I heard the dead body announcement.”

Camille quietly adjusted her hat, making sure not to undo the bandages. She sighed quietly.

"Well...I talked to the Diamond Soldier about his action 5...He told me he was at the Dorms, and saw Amai and Barron rushing by. Amai kicked down the door to the female bathrooms, while Barron ran off to the dorms. He then heard someone slamming down on the floor in the bathroom and something scattering..."

"There we go, onto my results" cosmi fiddled with her beast arm "There were two things of importance in the crime scene, first being a hole about the size that a head could fit in, and the way it was dug indicate it was hastily made. The other item of importance was a stick covered in blood and mud from a nearby mud puddle, which was likely used to cover up said blood on the stick, based on the cause of death, a stab to the Jugular if I remember correctly, I can deduce that stick is likely the murder weapon." Cosmi made a fist with her beast arm "My overall conclusion is that this murder may have been done in a hurry, as the body discovery announcement went off action 6, the killer likely had no time to mess with the crime scene too much. By that, if I may guess, based on the haste of the act and attempted cleanup, the most likely conclusion was that the murder occured act 4 or 5, though this is just a guess."

ACTION ONE~

"I first went to the garden... Everything just seemed... So blurry, everything was dark. I started to see all the bodies of the victims of the last game... I needed to go NOW! So I then rushed to the garden.. I couldn't even see who was around me. I just started trying to find an exit. I started tearing through the flowers and started to dig a hole, I was desperate to escape. It didn't work at all. But I heard a growling noise, or so I think I did."

ACTION TWO~

"I Then ran to my bedroom. On the way there I saw Boris with a sledgehammer... And a club card soilder protecting a dorm door....  I just needed to get in and just be alone... This had to be a dream. I jumped onto my bed and just cried and let it all out.. I couldn't sleep."

ACTION THREE~

"All that crying, It made me hungry... So I walked towards the kitchen... I saw Cartaphilius enter the male bath from the dorm check in. That's when I saw Boris and decided to walk with him... That is when, we made it to the throne room... I don't want to say what happened but... In short I can remember that Yuuki, Erb, Aymeric, Estiene, Camillie, Cosmi, Baron, and Kevin there... I went closer to Boris in hopes he could protect me"

ACTION FOUR~

I took Boris' hand and saw Barron charging at him!  I though Barron was gonna hurt him.." She starts to stutter "But... But... But, Something grabbed him and pulled him over... Cosmi was shouting at him... Camille was ok thank god.. I was still worried though. Boris instead took me to Yuuki... And more shouting... and screaming and EVERYTHING JUST GOT LOUD" She started to hyperventilate "Umi walked by and fell on her face... I... I"

ACTION FIVE~

"I.... I couldn't do this! TOO MUCH!" She starts to cry and sob. shaking tremondously "Everyone was getting hurt... So I ran to the female bath... And I looked everywhere... I had to go! I HAD TO LEAVE! This is all a nightmare..... Then I found some pills"

 She gets quiet

"I grabbed them... This is all a dream, I cant wake up... I could only wake up if... I put myself to sleep.... So... I tried to... Overdose on them. But all that did was make me fall and sleep..."

She looks at Nalanie

"But I saw NALANIE walk from the garden before I entered."

ACTION SIX~

"I can't remmebr much... I woke up... to a soilder, a diamond soilder..."

She stood silent.

*Nalaine stands and looks at everyone before speaking.*

"I guess I shall share my night."


"Action 1: I went to the dining room for the tea party to find out more about this place, and what we are doing here, I didn't find much, however, while here I saw Erika, Cosmi, Brodie, Camille, Yuuki and Merurin."

"Action 2: I decided to go to the garden to look at the different plants that are in this place. As I was walking there I noticed Barron in the hallway. When I arrived I saw a bush in the corner hunched over something small and black (Alice), I went to investigate when I was attacked, Something hard hit my neck and I fell to the ground, I looked up and couldn't make out my attacker. before I blacked out I heard someone scream.

"Action 3: I wake up and see Alice's mangled body in the bushes. I stared in horror."

"Action 4: I tried having a closer look at the body but did not realise how thorny the bush was, my arm got severely cut. *Nalaine pulls up her sleeve to reveal a bandaged arm.*

"Action 5: I went to the Infirmary and saw Amai rushing in the hallway, and Barron almost ran me down, I tried to tell Barron about the body but he didn't stop. I got to the infirmary to bandage my arm, while I was here I saw Boris and Umi, I told them both of the body."

"Action 6: I walk with Boris and Umi until we reached the living area, I needed a rest so I stopped, Boris and Umi went to the garden. Shortly after the announcement went off."

[Segaaaa]

"Just by looking at the corpse I was able to figure out who the culprit is."

"I am very, very, disappointed, culprit-san. I was expecting more of a challenge from you."
"This murder not being a locked room mystery should have told me this wouldn't be hard."

"Now, I could just say who you are, but..."

"Wheeeree's the fawn in thaaattttttt?"
"Cornering you and finding out the howdunnit as you cower in fear would be way more enjoyable!"

"Because of this, I'll be nice to everyone just this once and I, the great detective and intellectual rapist Furudo Erika, will give you little hints to solve this mystery, starting with my alibi."
"I have photographic memory, so this shouldn't be hard."

"Hmm, let's see..."
"In Action 1 I accepted Heart-san's invitation and went to the Dining Hall for the tea party."
"I had a nice chat with Heart-san. Cosmi-san, Brodie-san, Nalalie-san, Yuuki-san, and Merurin-san were also there with me drinking tea, along with Erb-san, Estinien-san, and Aymeric-san."
"Yuuki-san chatted with Erb-san, and Nalalie-san asked a pointless question at some point."

"In Action 2 I entered the Kitchen and found Umi-san and Kurane-san inside. Umi-san was drenched in strawberry milk, and Kurane-san was very much clean and helping her clean the mess."
"I ignored the actions that made them a failure to humanity and checked the knives: They were 20 and were all there."
"And finally, next to the knives I found..."

"Chopsticks!!!"

"After taking a pair of humanity's most magnificent creation, I left those two in the kitchen and went back to the Dining Hall in Action 3 to talk to everyone about chopsticks."
"But..."

"Everyone had left except for Brodie-san. Heart-san was also there, but he is so useless I don't consider him a person, so let's ignore him."
"But, I did see Merurin-san entering the kitchen."

"But I got to give Brodie-san my chopstick speech! Heart-san ignored it, further proving my point."
"Whoever doesn't like chopsticks is not human!!"
"Oh, right, Umi-san and Kurane-san arrived from the kitchen, too."

"In Action 4, I tried to turn Heart-san back to human, but for some reason he answered that he hated the other aces and was plotting to kill them, completely avoiding my chopstick explanation."
"The fact that he's not talking right now also proves my point."
"Anyway, Umi-san left the room and Merurin-san arrived from the kitchen with food. Broodie-san and Kurane-san were on the table drinking tea. I also caught something hanging from Merurin-san's sleeve. Mind saying what that was, Merurin-san?"

"Ignoring that, I tried to convince Heart-san again, but a battle cry coming from the Throne Room stopped me from doing so...!"

"In Action 5 I went over to the Throne Room to shut whoever that was up and found a mess, just a mess!"
"I do not want to remember what happened, all you have to know is that I found Barron-san, Erb-san, and Cosmi-san arguing. Boris-san and Yuuki-san were also arguing. Aymeric-san and Camillie-san were apparently in some kind of fight, and Kevin-san and Estinien-san were trying to help Umi-san."
"Soon after that, Barron-san ran away, and both Umi-san and Boris-san ran after him."

"In Action 6 I decided to try calming everyone down in my own way and was about to start to talk about chopsticks, but..."
"Yuuki-san and Erb-san left, leaving me all alone with Cosmi-san, Aymeric-san, Camillie-san, Kevin-san, and Estinien-san."
"As I was about to try again for the second time, I was interrupted by the body discover announcement..."

"Interesting... I will share what my investigation showed."

"I investigated the body of Alice, she was firmly stuck in the bush, mud covered on her. Blood is soaked into her dress around the stomach, and her neck looks as though something tore at her throat. She has black cloth stuck in her mouth with some blood on it. The bush itself sinks into her stomach and is also latched to her neck. Her chin down is stuck in a different part of the bush, though there's a bubble of some sort around it, like somebody cleared it."


"I looked further and found that the blood patch around her stomach came from her being stabbed by a circular object somewhere in the liver. 
I then checked her neck and saw that it is bloody and ripped, and there were tooth marks around this area..."
"Also the black cloth in her mouth is... her panties."

"So Alice's corpse was found in one of the Garden's bushes. The body was firmly stuck in it, and there was mud covering her. To describe it a bit more, the bush sank into her stomatch, and was also latched to her neck. Her chin down was stuck in a different part of the bush, though there was a bubble of some sort around it, as if somebody had cleared it."
"In my search I also found two wounds: a stab wound in her stomach, and a wound in her neck. I'm 100% certain her neck was bitten off, as I saw teeth marks around the wound."

"I investigated the bush a bit more, and found that the tips of the twigs around the hole I mentioned earlier had some blood on them, and the twigs that were moved away to make the hole were at the bottom."
"I also found that some holes were dug out near the bottom of the bush. They looked about the circumference of the stab wound located on the victim's stomach."
"So I think it's pretty clear what happened based on that, kind of."
"Well, I also did not expect this from them, but apparently Culprit-san is a pervert and put the victim's panties in her mouth... When I removed it I found blood inside (the mouth), as though the victim had coughed the panties up."

"The victim died between Action 2 and Action 4."

"The victim most likely died action 2, when I woke up action 3 she was dead in the bush, however, if you don't believe me so be it."

"And the killer wasn't the one who put the panties in Alice's mouth... That was me."

Boris crosses his arms, closing his eyes. "I will give everyone about my investigation info, as well as my Alibi." He clears his throat.

"For my Investigation results, there are the obvious things, the mud puddle, flowers, bushes. However, it was strange that there was a hole that seem to be dug by hands alone and big enough to fit a head. There were flowers torn from around that hole. There was a stick that was covered in mud, however it was more dried than wet, so it must have been in the mud puddle earlier in the night. It was broken from one of the bushes, nearest to the entrance, however there is another stick missing. With my knowledge, the bush that Hardgore Alice was killed in, had some magical properties, even though magic does not exist."

Boris cracks his elbows, then his neck. "Now, for my Alibi."

"Action 1, I went to my room to find some clues about my missing brother, Nikolai. Amai bolted past me as Barron walks calmly in the same direction as me. I saw Hardgore Alice and Cartaphilius head to the Garden. I as well saw One Nine being carried by a Club Soldier. We three headed towards the same direction until I headed towards the Male dorms room, while One Nine and the soldier headed towards the female. As I checked my room, I saw a sledgehammer which I know belongs to Nikolai, and a note. The Note told me to smack the mirrors in the Male Bathroom to find a clue to where my brother is."

"Action 2, I went to the Male Bathroom, I saw Amai rush by me towards the Female Dorms, crying. As I enter the bathroom, it looked normal to me. I started to swing the Sledgehammer against the mirrors in an order to get a clue, which was to destroy something that is related to his rival in the Throne Room, whom I do not Kumaing! know, so I started to head in that direction. Worst Kumaing! Mistake."

"Action 3, ABSOLUTE Kumaing! CHAOS. Cartaphilius walked past me towards the dorm check in as Amai followed me to the Throne Room. Can anyone explain to me what the Kuma! happened in the Throne Room because when I entered the room, Camille and Kevin were knocked out, Comsi was trying to tend to Camille, as Barron is reequipping his armor, while Yuuki was talking to the main three, Erb, Aymeric, and Estinien."

"Action 4, I went to ask Yuuki, or one of the three fuckboys, to figure out who was my brother's rival and what was the item that is related to the rival, however... Barron Kumaing! charged at me like I have murdered someone or something like that. However, Comsi stopped him as Aymeric is holding the unconscious Camille in his arms. Amai got scared, so I lead her to Yuuki for her safety. When I tried to ask Yuuki about Nikolai's rival, I could never get an answer because of idiots screaming at each other about some stupid Enclave. And then the chaos was increased. Erb Kumaing! screamed and started to attack Comsi and Barron, which did not Kumaing! help, AT ALL. That's when Umi enters the room as Estinien goes to tend Kevin and then somehow Umi tripped and fell."

"Action 5, Amai ran out crying thanks to the Kumaing! chaos. I walked to where Umi is and I tried to get everyone's attention by slamming the sledgehammer on the floor and telling everyone to shut the Kuma! up, however Barron rushed out, getting out of Comsi's grasp as Yuuki just smokes there, watching this. Umi then asked me to help her and, of course I said yes. I helped Umi to the infirmary as we saw Nalanie bandaging her arm. I was holding Umi's IV's as she switched her bandages when Nalanie told us that she found the body. Of course, we went to see the body during the last action."

"Action 6, of course I was pissed as Kuma! because I never got my answer, so I went to the garden with Nalanie and Umi. Umi was clinging to my arm as we got to the Living Area where Nalanie sat down at the couch and told us to continue, so we continued. When we entered the room, I saw the corpse. Umi peaked her head from behind me and saw the corpse as well, causing the handbook to freak out and show deep red text, telling us to hurry to the garden."

"I'll start with my alibi

A1, I went over to the Kitchen and made a sandwitch, before long Umi walks makes a drink yet she dropped it and made a mess on the floor even spilling at the soldiers who were there

A2, Seeing Umi in quite the trouble, i decided to help her. Erika comes in and examined the knives and took some chopsticks that were beside it

A3, Erika takes her leave just as Merurin comes in a looks at the muffins, Umi and I went to the Dining Hall, Brodie, Erika and Heart were there. Brodie was relaxing, Erika was talking about chopsticks, Heart was seemingly upset and Umi tried cheering him up

A4, I decided to drink some tea, Erika was berating Heart, Umi left for the Throne Room, Merurin came in the Dining Hall with a plate of muffine, something was hanging on her sleeve, suddenly some kind of scream rang out from the Throne Room

A5, Erika leaves in a fury and so I decided to ask Merurin what the thing was but she was too focused on Brodie who took a muffin...all i can find about the thing on her sleeve is it was decently long and sharp

A6, Yuuki and Erb past through to the Kitchen as i enjoy my tea, Brodie and Merurin took a muffin, Heart was about to get one but was cut off by the body annoucement...that is what happened on my night"
